I was dancing on the Soul Train, a TV show. Little did I know that Michael
was watching me. I became one of his favourite dancers. I didn’t know that
until we started working together. At that time, it was a big pleasure
working with him; I used to pinch myself to know if it was real. You didn’t
get to see Michael unless he was on TV and here I was, sitting one on one
with him. It was a big deal. He was a superstar. He had always been a
superstar even before ‘Thriller’. For me to have the opportunity to work
with him was one of life’s greatest pleasures. I was so humbled and
honoured about it. At the same time, he was humbled to work with me because
I was his hero and I didn’t know that. That was why we worked together for
such a long time.
He didn’t learn it from him, in his auto biography Michael said he learned
it from kids on the street plus who cares who started it Michael masterd it
