the BEST thing you did with this set is that you didnt show too many of the
90’s performances which is great because by that time soul train was
finished but i would have loved it if you would have had more 1980-1986
performances and also the FORMAT of it by just showing ALL the Episodes
like have a disc ful of 1971, disc 2 1972 rather than skipping around and i
think that the soul train you tube geeks like myself would agree says

Yes. They are complete performances.
Don Cornelius — who famously created “Soul Train” was found dead in his
Sherman Oaks, CA home this morning … and law enforcement sources tell us
it appears he committed suicide. We’re told cops discovered the body at
around 4 AM PT. Law enforcement sources tell us … Cornelius died from a
gunshot wound to the head and officials believe the wound was
self-inflicted.

I lived for Soul Train at 3 pm every Saturday afternoon when I was a kid.
My white kid status took a back seat when I learned to groove and dance.
Funk n soul roots stick with me to this day as a musician!
I use to watch this every Saturday afternoon, in Detroit where I grew up as
a kid, I was born in 61. I miss watching this program Souuuuuuul
