THE BLACK WOMAN says:

You know how “whites” reckon they invented everything brilliant. Well that
must include BLACK people.
Thank you “whites”.

MickyMicky Mike says:

Back when young blacks could go somewhere and have fun and dance without
worrying about someone fighting and shooting up the place over some stupid
nonsense. Back when black women were so fine and natural and stayed in
shape. Back when music was real, no calling women bitches and hoes, and
praising material objects. Back when women respected themselves in public,
no tattoos all over their bodies, and twerking for attention. This new
generation sucks and it’s very depressing that this era is never coming
back. Thanks for the memories!

rakkfatha says:

How in the FUCK! do you come up with music like that in those times when it
wasn’t even heard of? James Brown’s soul must’ve been connected with the
angels.

Klara Denken says:

Etwas, was
ich in DLand nie sah.

roberto santos says:

Damita Jo Freeman was the da bomb back then!!! I just love the performance
where is daughter was dancing with him. Overall this live performance with
James Brown and JB’S will always be one of Soul Trains best! When he came
on the show, he would always perform a live set.
