I was only 8 back then, but severely dug this song, plus “Rockin’ Chair” by
his gorgeous wife Gwen McCrae. Best music ever during that era! Also
loved Sylvia Robinson’s “Pillow Talk”–all of these good “jammin'” songs
that I had no clue about as a little kid, lol!

I still remember dancing with my sister to this back in the 70s when I was
a little boy on Saturdays soul train on channel 2 American bandstand
channel 7. what great times. our family was lucky we had cable tv 12 whole
channels ! the cable bill was $7.00 dollars I recall my dad telling my mom
how the company was ripping us off ha ha.
