JUST GONE PUT THIS IN THE ATMOSPHERE: I think that the Braxton Sisters
should do a similar tribute like this to En Vogue or other 70-80’s girl
groups. Because their harmonies are so tight, and because they want an
al(BLUM) so bad, a performance such as this on an award show could serve as
a showcase for their talent (outside of that damn “God Put A Rainbow In The
Sky”) +TrinaBraxtonVEVO +Tamar Braxton +TamarbraxtonVEVO +TraciBraxtonVEVO +

Roger Plummer says:

Soulful, sexy, funny, and harmonious, all while dancing brilliantly in
platform high heels! Way to go Funky Divas!

James Johnson says:

SHEEEeeeEEEeeeEEEIIIIIIIIIT!!!! Look at dem sexy ass LEGS!!!

blazedyoo says:

They sound terrible solo they can’t really sing to be honest but when you
blend their voice together it creates a nice harmony otherwise they can’t
sing..

April Overturf says:

that was awesome!!

Marco Tulio Vazquez says:

These ladies were special…! I miss them a lot!

Eric Hill says:

Is it just me, but MAX!!!!!! Sung that song , that song was made for Ms
Queen Max!!!!!!!

Phila Ngamlana says:

can’t sing being more successful..nuff said!!

cacopes says:

I saw this when it originally aired in 1993…My family and I were
expecting them to sing something from their album, but when they came out
with the fros and minis the only thing I could say was ‘oh snap’. To this
day it is still my favorite performance from them.

Anwar Uhuru says:

I remember this too!

carman1700 says:

Dawn’s vocals were on point.

Fabius fierce says:

They are the best i cant wait until thier tribute

hammonev says:

I was so focused on the singing throughout this video that it wasn’t until
halfway through the last song that I realized that the band was kicking
some a$$ back there!

1969Tisa says:

Now This was The Only Real Girl Group through the years they were out and
non since, they had all the right elements and they all shined as one, unlike
that bitch beyonce who should have started out solo to get her fame, instead
of using others talents and a group to make a name for herself and give
them the shaft in the end.

Kima Ali says:

I’m used to Cindy singing high notes but she came in with those soulful low
notes! Cut up then Cindy!

Kima Ali says:

1:02 those notes Dawn hit!!!! Omg! She can hit those live!? Wow!!

Joao Aurelio says:

Slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, one of best performances on Soul Train in 90’s

I’ve been looking for this FOREVER!!!! Thank you for posting!!!

Charles Jefferson says:

Love this

ThePocahontas225 says:

Thank you, That ugly, weave wearing, westley snipes looking, bitch had no
right to talk about dawn career when her ignorant, loud mouth, dramatic,
ratchet ass didn’t really have a career except for two songs. Dawn was in
one of the most popular girl groups of the 90’s, their songs are still
being played today. How many people can say that about lil mo? None Even
Keyshia cole had a way better career than lil mo

Charles Marcus says:

At 4:25-4:30.Chaka Khan in the audience who would performed at the show
that year.EN Vogue did a tribute to her in the old skool medley.I did not
see thi when it aired.I was in kindergarden at that time.En Vogue was
wonderful,I like those girls.Tha 90s girl group.

jeminijemini1 says:

together, they are too talented!

blksung says:

Damn I miss these bitches!!! LOL!!!!!

pseud0rican777 says:

Wow! Never saw this. They are GREAT, all of em can hold a lead and they
harmonize with ease. I’m a DIE hard SWV fan but En Vogue can SANG!

70puck says:

Awesome performance!! Thank you for the upload 🙂

MrHootiedean says:

This didn’t air in my small hick town so I didn’t see it for about 20 years
later, but it was so worth it when I finally did. Name a group or act that
could do this today?!

ghetuyi says:

The Best Female group of all time! Period!

Dwayne Martinez says:

lol wow Lil Mo has nooo right to speak these women are amazing and Dawn
very unique

TheRealArrendondo says:

hahha…you just saying that becuase you learned how she was on R&B
DIVAS…i already know

Reese Bronson says:

Dawn looks a mess all through this

christian griffin says:

Thanks for this. There is another post of this performance, but the timing
is off. This is perfect

OctoberLibra1 says:

Girl hello, everyone knows that beYARNSALE is a thief, she stole so many
video concepts from other artist just by going on youtube and stealing
shit…fuck her fake, fraudulent ass…she even faked being pregnant….If
you put your trust and love in beYARNSALE, you’re worshipping that
illuminati bitch just as she want you too.

say198x07111 says:

Dawn’s voice is so clear and powerful. luv her parts.

OctoberLibra1 says:

beyarnsale is always stealing other peoples shit…and we all know that she
stays on youtube stealing shit, video concepts…the bitch is a fraud and
unoriginal….

Don Catalog says:

I think that was the plan to be wild then come together in synchronization.
Our brains are so deformed that it is difficult for us to see the vision of
others, but if we observe this with the eyes of a visionary, their intent
is apparent.

dwmusic147 says:

So what about the choreography they got a lot more talent than the people
that are famous now!

Ann Noire says:

Actually, I remember Bee being photographed with EnVogue as a child and was
very inspired by them. If she was smart enough to look for inspiration,
this was possibly the most “modern” and best for Foxxy Cleopatra. I see a
lot of similarities, and that’s not a bad thing at at. Actually, I saw this
when it came out, and I hadn’t realized how similar the choreography was.
EnVogue reminds me of the ladies in Sparkle, but with 4 power leads.

Ann Noire says:

What’s the big deal! It was a choreographer who took those moves, some from
the seventies, and some looked like older boogie oogie blues dancing. This
could have been a good reference point because it was modern.

jane doe says:

if she wrote this on free ur mind or my lovin or hold on video and Bey had
this 50s 60s style(which at the end of the day is the 50s and 60s not
envogue) then you could say B was “inspired”, but to sit here and say when
Bey was making her “work it out” music video since the theme was the 70’s
she said im going to use a random 1993 soul train envogue tribute to the
SEVENTIES performance as inspiration is very far fetch

craziey1 says:

they ddid the exact same medley on the live in usa alkbum
